How to be a Millionaire
68
I used to believe that in order to be successful all I had to do was work hard, be passionate and don't give up. How terribly wrong I was. The key to success is not hard work, but how to profit from the hard work of others.
Working hard for your money is what people richer than you want you to think. It's by no accident that the more money you make the less you have to work to earn it. These people feel entitled to their money because they worked hard once setting up a business scheme that later earned them millions.
By no means is this a new concept. Making money off of others has been the foundation of building strong and powerful empires. We live in a complex monetary pyramid scheme with the bulk of the weight being held up by the hardest workers on the bottom.
The real way to be a millionaire
So lets be honest here, if you really want to be a millionaire and live the easy life you need to follow these simple steps.
- What do people need, want or require? and how are you going to convince them that they need you, your business or service?
- How are you going to offer the goods or service without being physically involved?
- How are you going to bring operating costs down and increase profits?
- And finally, how are you going to convince your customers that they are better having you around?
This last step is really important. Without establishing a dependency you could easily be overthrown and loose everything you worked so hard to get.
A possible solution
Complaining without offering a solution would be counter productive in my opinion. So here is what I suggest as a possible solution to our global socio-economic problems.
We live in a globalized world right? What happens in China will affect Canadians, accept it! Government involvement as it had functioned has become obsolete in this new global playground. In an age where financial decisions are made in micro seconds, government bureaucracies are just a waste of time and taxpayers money.
- Governments should remain as representatives of a country and her resources on the global front. As such, the people of the countries should be seen as the owners of those resources.
- Companies need to lose their status as being that of equal in rights with humans. Instead, corporations need to be seen as a conglomerative of her co-owning employees.
"But how will companies stay competitive globally if we don't think about the bottom line?"
Easily! The power of the many will always be more powerful than the minds of a few. How often do we begrudgingly do our jobs the way our boss told us to do it, despite knowing an easier way? Couldn't we figure out a way to effectively communicate our ideas of efficiency and make it work for everyone else? The reasons why we don't offer suggestions is because we are afraid to rock the boat and potentially lose the jobs that we depend on for our survival.
Like professional athletes we need to be allowed to market ourselves to a company through ownership contracts, this way we feel apart of the business. We will take pride in its success and take personal ownership through its failures. We need to be allowed to offer suggestions, make mistakes and continually learn without the fear of being fired.
Essentially we need to get to a point where we no longer fear being poor, no longer strive to step on the backs of people to be a millionaire. We need to return to our primal roots of co-operation, community subsistence through modern co-operative corporations, to success as a global society.
