Pastry Shop in France

La Patisserie

A French pastry shop in central France catches the attention of travelers as they walk by and see the pastries on display. What they see is large platters filled with Twinky-like pastries (cream-filled and all) with pink icing over top so that it is shaped like the male anatomy, or as the French call it, le zizi.

Bourges, France is a small town located in central France, better known for their cathedral, Saint-Etienne, which has magnificant stained-glass windows depicting "comic-strips" of biblical events.

Le Zizi

It was too hard to resist not buying one and having my picture taken eating the zizi pastry. I cannot for the life of me find the picture. So although I have no proof I promise that if you are in town stop by and have a look and taste the novelty pastries. They're not bad either.

The shop is located at the bottom of the main pedestrian street (there's only one)on the north side.

There are rumors that the place shut down. If anyone has seen this place please clarify if they are still open.
